A gift for the baby. A little care for her, too.

For seven years, I was a software engineer. I spent my days building things with logic—solving problems, designing systems, and making sure every small detail worked exactly as it should.
Petite Lavande came from somewhere much less logical. It came from missing my mom.
I grew up in Taiwan, and today there is an entire Pacific Ocean between us. Living so far from home has made me think differently about the ways we care for the people we love—especially during the moments when we wish we could simply be there.
A new baby is one of those moments.
When someone becomes a mother, everyone naturally gathers around the little person who has just arrived. There are tiny clothes, blankets, toys, and endless congratulations. But I kept thinking about the mother. She has just gone through something enormous, too.
Who is reminding her to rest? Who is sending something beautiful just for her? And what do you give when you want to say more than congratulations—when what you really mean is I’m thinking of you, I’m proud of you, and I wish I could be there?
That became Petite Lavande.
I wanted to create the kind of gift I would send across an ocean: beautiful things for the baby, thoughtful comforts for Mama, and details that make opening the box feel deeply personal.
My engineering brain never completely left, either. I still obsess over the little things—how everything fits together, how a box is arranged, how materials feel in your hands, and how the entire experience works from the moment someone chooses a gift to the moment another person opens it. Only now, what I’m building is softer.
Petite Lavande is my way of turning care into something you can send. For the new baby. For the woman becoming a mother. And for all of us who sometimes have to love someone from very far away.

What We Stand For
Purely Organic
Our cotton garments are made with GOTS-certified organic cotton from GOTS-certified makers, and we choose organic, natural materials across the box wherever we can.
Artisan-Made
We source our botanicals from Europe and our lavender from a family farm in Sequim, in the Pacific Northwest. The hands that made your gift cared deeply about it — and that's not something you can mass-produce.
Every Detail
Sea grass boxes, personalized cards, tissue and ribbon — because the unboxing is part of the gift. We believe in the beauty of ceremony.

Our Story
Born from a belief that beginnings deserve to be beautiful
The aesthetic comes from old French apothecaries — kraft paper, glass tubes, hand-pressed seals, twine, dried herbs. A time when remedies came with care, and care came with beauty.
A gift that feels both somewhere far away and grown close to home.
